The Peanut Butter Gang

NewLife is blessed to share in the ministry of The Peanut Butter Gang and Hospitality Too Soup Kitchen in Brentwood, New York. This ecumenical ministry not only provides a soup kitchen and clothing ministry, but the many “gang” members (local churches, school children, and others) provide peanut butter sandwiches and wash up kits for the homeless in many of New York’s missions. We’re not talking about a few peanut butter sandwiches, but thousands of sandwiches every month.

The Peanut Butter Gang also supplies a number of care packages to various missions around the world each month. NewLife is pleased to have been able to contribute to these packages over the years. Recently we received a thank you note from a mission for adults and children with AIDS in Cambodia. Along with the note were some pictures of beautiful children who are being helped by this mission. We wanted to share these pictures with you and to thank the Peanut Butter Gang for providing this opportunity.

“Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.” Mark 9:37
