Meet NewLife: Peggy Woods - Mission Outreach

May 3rd, 2007 by Amanda in Company

One of the authors of this blog is Peggy Woods, an administrative assistant in the Marketing Department and coordinator of our mission outreach program. Originally from the Northeast, Peggy came to NewLife in July of 1997 as a temp. She’s had a variety of roles since then, but she particularly enjoys research, working on the blog, and the many friends she has made around the world through mission outreach. And I’m sure she doesn’t mind that we always ask her to proofread our work - she’s got a good eye for that kind of thing.

Having worked in a Christian women’s shelter for four years, Peggy has a particular interest in helping women and is on the Board of Cornerstone Women’s Ministries, as well as being involved with several other regional ministries. Peggy’s son is currently in the National Guard and she is particularly proud of his service during both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
